Prerequisites
No choir experience is required, just an interest in singing, especially Ukrainian folk music, which makes up the majority of the repertoire. We welcome both experienced singers and complete beginners. It is necessary to be able to read the Cyrillic alphabet and have a knowledge of Ukrainian at A1 level. The course is also suitable for students wishing to expand their knowledge of Ukrainian and looking for a university environment to do so.

Course objectives
During the course, students will improve their singing skills, learn the basics of music notation, gain experience singing in a Ukrainian choir and performing at concerts as a choir Podolyanočka.
Learning outcomes (in Czech)
Studenty se naučí zpívat konkretní písně, nastudované běhém daného semestru.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Teorie: noty, délka noty, pauza, délka pauzy, takt.
  • Písně: Podoljanočka, Sonce nyzeňko, Porizala pal´čyk, Rozpriahajte chlopci konej, Oj u luzi červona kalyna, Cvite teren, Son.

Kratká teoretická část na začátku lekce, pak sborová zkouška.
