- Course objectives
- In the course of this subject, we will explore the position of Vietnamese women throughout history and in the present. Together, we will examine gender specifics embedded in language and culture, which may stem from historical contexts. What insights can be drawn from Vietnamese phraseology and literature regarding the perception of women's roles?
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student will be able to: Engage in informed discussions on the topic of the status of Vietnamese women Analyze certain gender stereotypes embedded in both Vietnamese and Czech language and culture Demonstrate knowledge of Vietnamese literary works related to the issues of Vietnamese women
