Course objectives
The Critical Thinking Methods course is fully e-learning. Within this course, competences will be developed in the learning process, which can be used in the self-development and everyday life of the students.
These are the following goals from the position of students:
  • Acquire the skill of interaction in the ELF environment;
  • Orientation in the digital environment;
  • Get to know selected methods of critical thinking and try their use in developing your media and information literacy;
  • Design a teaching unit using critical thinking methods;
  • reflect on current events in society and approach them critically;
  • Understand the importance of a critical approach to teaching
  • Learning outcomes
    After completing the course, the student will be able to:
  • Learn to search and translate questions and problems within the learning process;
  • Understand the constructivist concept of teaching;
  • Be able to apply critical thinking methods for own goals;
  • Understand the digital environment and its specifics in the context of your information behavior;
  • Asking questions and looking for answers within media and information literacy;
  • Understand the principles of well-being and adopt them yourself

    Distance online course, comprised of 13 theme modules. For succesful course conclusion, students have to: - fulfil continuous homeworks (written tasks or tests) - write a final project using methods of critical thinking

    The course takes place every week in the form of e-learning. It consists of 14 modules that contain study materials, possibly additional study materials, recommended literature, and a written assignment.
