Course objectives
The seminar offers an insight to subject of bibliotherapy and its possible use in literature lessons at grammar schools. Students will be introduced to basics of bibliotherapy as a psychotherapy method, they will be told of the specifics of adolescency (with focus on their reading habits and preferences), followed by possible bibliotherapeutic usage at grammar schools. The students will try to create their own bibliotherapeutic experiments.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to use the strategies of bibliotherapy in their own teaching practice in literature lessons at grammar schools, they will get feedback from the lecturers and they will be allowed to confront their findings and their own opinions with the reality at schools.

Wide range of different teaching methods (frontal teaching, experiential pedagogy, group work, dramatization etc.), controlled discussion.
Assessment methods
Requirements:
- active approach (students are expected to attend the seminars /max. two unexcused absences/, to discuss and to work in lessons);
To pass the subject successfully, it is required to create a bibliotherapeutical experiment according to instructions (will be specified in the seminar).
