Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with the influence of different factors of the environment (temperature, relative humidity, light, pollutants...) to cultural heritage artefacts made of different materials. Besides the knowledge of influencing itself, students will be learnt to propose the most convenient conditions in relation to individual materials and they will be acquainted with methods how to set, monitor and keep the conditions in practice. Understanding the relations is essential for any further work with cultural heritage artefacts.
