- Course objectives
- Absolving the course a student obtains following abilities and skills:
Basic knowledge of the principle of function of rudimentary electronics components and semiconductor devices.
Ability to design and connect simple electronic circuit with semiconductor devices (diodes, transistors, operational amplifiers, etc.) - Learning outcomes
- Ability to design and connect simple electronic circuits with semiconductor devices. Namely a simple transistor amplifier with a bipolar transistor. Design and connect simple circuits with an operational amplifier: an inverting and non-inverting amplifier, an integrating amplifier, a logarithmic amplifier. Connect simple circuits with Circuit 555 and build simple voltage and current stabilizers.

- Diode and transistor characteristics; method of measurements.
- Low frequency amplifiers, operational amplifiers- basics connection, application.
- Analogue and digital information, AD and DA converter.
- Sound and picture digital and analogy transmission and recording; sorts of modulation; radio transmitter and receiver; Citizens' Band radio, Sorts of amateur broadcasting.
