- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The goal of the course is to introduce its participants to modern physics and its applications in a simple form. The course is aimed mainly at science teachers who deal with modern physics topics in their practice with their own students, but lack the necessary information. The selection of topics is guided by this goal, the subject thus includes theoretical, experimental topics, but also on the border of science and technology. The lecturers are teachers and experts from practice who deal with the topic of their lecture professionally. At the same time, the teachers strive to conduct lessons in a simple form that should be comprehensible not only to physics teachers, but also to other science disciplines.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student will be able to:
describe topics addressed by contemporary physics; give a basic explanation of the discussed phenomena; orient oneself in the current possibilities of instrumentation of a modern physics laboratory; explain the basic procedures of modern technologies - Syllabus

- The course ends with a credit. The minimum attendance is 8 hours (4 x 2h).
