Course objectives
The course aims to introduce students to the possibilities of applying research topics in the field through presentations by experts from practice (commercial sphere, research institutes, public administration).
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: - Identify the main research trends in basic and applied research in the subject area. - Design and explain appropriate data processing methods and give examples of their application to practical projects. - Apply the acquired knowledge in the dissertation emphasising the broader research and application context.
Syllabus
  • Series of lectures on selected application topics. The specific content may vary from year to year according to the topics currently being addressed.

  • Přžední světové tzištěné a digitální časopisy z oblasti geoinformaziky a kartografie.
Teaching methods
Presentations by external researchers and practitioners and practical demonstrations using the Internet

Active discussion during guest speakers presentations and credit
