- Epidemiology of virus infection. Pathogenicity and virulence of viruses. Immunological responses to virus infection. Interferon. Cellular or viral products affecting the immune system. Persistent infections. Formation of tumors. Viral vaccines. Diseases produced by Papovaviruses, Adenoviruses,Herpesviruses.Poxviruses diseases of man. Poxviruses zoonosis.Diseases produced by Iridoviruses. Human and animal Parvoviruses. Diseases produced by Reovirus and Arenavirus.Diseases produced by Bunyaviruses.
