Syllabus
  • Electron transfer in biological systems is a lecture for selection in 3rd to 5th. year of chemistry. It brings information on concepts of radiative and non-radiative electron transition, adiabatic and non-adiabatic processes, Marcus theory, bonded and non-bonded ET, ET proteins (HIPIP, oxidases, cytochromes), electrochemical studies of metalloenzymes and coenzymes.
