- Dual concept in the evaluation of biodivrsity. Functional, genetic, structural and taxonomic biodiversity.
- Biodiversity in data, biodiversity in scientific graphs.
- Biodiversity indices. Species richness, heterogeneity of abundance distribution within different biological communities.
- Evenness. Confidence limits for various diversity measures, approximation of min/max values.
- Rarefaction. Numerical realization of rarefaction curves and associated variability. Cumulative species-abundance curves, Q-statistics.
- Species abundance stochastic models: types, evaluation, fitting, graphical patterns.
- Niche-oriented species abundance modelling. Computer assissted simulation in the evaluation of biodiversity.
- Bootstrap and jackknife techniques. Parametric and non-parametric evaluation of biodiversity comparison. Biodiversity data in multivariate analyses.
- Fractionation of biological communities and biodiversity analyses of the segments.
- Markov chains in the evaluation of time-related biodiversity data. Case studies.
