Syllabus
  • Quantitative methods. Quantification in geography. Fundamentals of geographical representation of statistical phenomena. Frequency distributions and their graphical representation. Fundamental statistical characteristics. Models of occurence of mass phenomena. Theoretical division - the most frequently used types. Selective investigations and the theory of estimate. Testing statistical hypotheses. Character and closeness of correlation, determination of regressional functions, kinds of calculation of the correlation coefficient. Time series. Models in geography.
