Course objectives
The course covers the chemistry of both main-group and transition-metal organometallics, their structure, bonding, and reactivity with emphasis on the unique aspects of the M-C bond. Some aspects of cluster compounds, multiple metal-metal bonds, isolobal analogy, and homogenous and heterogeneous catalysisare considered as well.
