Course objectives
The Lagrange and Hamilton formalism in classical mechanics and relativistic field theory. Variational principles, principles and symmetry and conservation laws - theorems of E. Noether. Connections between classical and quantum mechanics. Mathematical fundaments of general theory of relativity.
