Course objectives (in Czech)
Účelem cyklu přednášek je podat podrobný výklad o receptorech a jejich zapojení ve fyziologických procesech, včetně patofyziologických procesů.
Syllabus
  • 1. Introduction, receptor, receptor antagonist and agonist, receptor kinetics, receptor types, receptors associated with iont channels, receptors associated with G proteins, receptors associated with enzyme, receptors regulating transcription, second messengers 2. Acetylcholine and its receptors 3. Physiology of excretion, renin-angiotensin system: kidney, nephron, glomerular filtration, vasopresin, aldosteron, ANP, endothelins, angiotensins, ACE, blood pressure regulations, hypertension 4. Physiology of glands with internal secretion: hormones, homeostasis, hypothalamo-hypophysar system, somatotropin, thyreotropin, kortikotropin, somatomedins, FSH, LH, prolaktine, Beta-lipotropin, vazopresin, oxytocin, POMC, adrenal glands, kortizol, androgens, ACTH, catecholamin 5. Dopamin, adrenalin, noradrenalin, thyroid: MAO, COMT, dopamine receptors, amphetamines, adrenoreceptors, tyroxin, trijodthyronin, hypotyreosis, hypertyreosis 6. Adenosin, kinins, cannabinoids, chemokines (HIV), cholecystokinine, endotelins, histamin, opioids, acetylcholine and its receptors 7. Insuline, glukagon, gastrin, sekretin, VIP, neurotensin, tachykinins, melatonin, prostanoids and its receptors
