Course objectives
Lecture extends fundamental knowledge in comparative physiology. It is concentrated on understanding of both general principles and special adaptations selected model groups of invertebrates. Links between physiology and ekology (ekophysioogy) and ethology (behavioral physiology) are pointed out. Major extent is devoted to insects. Student is supposed to acquaint colleagues with a short relevant paper.
