Contens of the course: Assessment of genetic variation, Hardy-Weiberg principle in idealized populations and its application, Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium for special cases of random mating, Assortative mating, Inbreeding, Random genetic drift, Migration, Mutation, Natural selection.

  • 1.Trial establishment with genetic model organism Drosophila melanogaster. 2.Quantitative assessment of genetic variability. 3.Hardy-Weinberg principle. 4.Validity od the H.-W. principle in gonochoristic population. 5.Linkage and linkage disequilibrium. 6. Linkage equilibrium. 7.Assortative mating. 8.Inbreeding. 9.Random genetic drift. 10.Effective population number. 11.Mutations. 12.Migration. 13.Natural selection. 14.Mutation-selection balance.

Výuka probíhá pravidelně každý týden. Podmínkou k získání zápočtu je pravidelná docházka na cvičení a vypracování protokolu o provedeném semestrálním pokusu.
