Course objectives
The lecture is dedicated to the investigation of relationship between natural and cultural landscape factors. Classsification of human induced landforms is based upon the analysis of human activities and results into the proposals of restoration strategies.
Syllabus
  • 1. Human induced landforms - direct and undirect. 2. Classification of human induced landforms. 3. Restoration of human induced landforms. 4. The consequences of managed regimen of surface drainage. 5. Waste dumps and the problems of their management. 6. Geomorphological consequences of urbanisation, industrialisation and ruralisation of the natural environment.
