- Course objectives
- Fungi represent a large and diverse group of organisms that have crucial ecological functions under natural conditions as well as important practical applications (in production of antibiotics and other pharmaceuticals, production of biomass and protein for human nutrition, formulation of plant protection biopreparations); This course will give the students knowledge on the strategy of experiment designing as well as various methodological approaches, and will increase the competence to evaluate their results

- Fungi in biotechnological processes detection of enzyme activities; soil mycoflora; fungal plant pathogens; preservation of isolated fungal strains; collections of isolates.
