- Prerequisites
- Basic hight shool mathematics
- Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The main objective of this course is to give a general survey of mathematical methods and techniques applicable in life science. In particular:
To understand logical frame of scientific theory;
To follow a probabilistic fundation of statistics;
Be acquainted with basic tools of mathematical modelling of real objects and processes.
An intuitive understanding of concepts and application of techniques to particular problems are emphasized rather than precise mathematical theory. - Syllabus
