Prerequisites
The knowledge of other subjects is not presumed. The general knowledge over psychological terms on the secondary school level is necessary.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
At the end of this course , students should be able
- to understand the basic attitudes, procedures and methods of human diagnostics from the point of view of a common observer - teacher - psychologist and to explain the models of school performance and labour performance determinants,
- to develop his/her professional diagnostic and teacher skills on the basis of acquired knowledge.
Syllabus
  • 1. General questions of pedagogical and psychological diagnostics.
  • 2. The diagnostics of an individual from the position of a teacher and psychologist. Information sources and methods for data extraction.
  • The models and methods used by psychologist at standard examinations of an individual attending grammar or secondary school.
  • 3. The theory of a psychological and pedagogical testing, the basics of a psychometrics. The tests and items analysis methods.
