- Course objectives
- The course is an introduction to topics important in the field of tourism geography. Seminars focused on acquiring practical analytic methods are an integral part of the course.

- Lecturers:
- 1. Introduction (terminology, types of tourism, geography of tourism).
- 2. Origin and development of tourism.
- 3. Spatial distribution of tourism in the world.
- 4. Spatial distribution of tourism in the Czech Republic.
- 5. Resources of tourism.
- 6. Supply and demand in tourism (motivations of tourism, mass tourism and new forms of tourism consumption).
- 7. Economic, social and environmental impacts of tourism.
