Course objectives

At the end of the course the student will be able to familiarize him/herself with new discoveries of Polish anthropology and archaeology

Syllabus

• 1. Changes to settlement structure around castles (Ostrów Lednicki, Gniezno, Giecz, Grzybowo). 2. Using upper-Middle Age castles in education and popularization in Poland. 3. Scandinavian graves in Piastowski Poland. 4. Velkopolsko in the period of Migration of the Nations until the formation of the Piastowski state. 5. Upper-Middle Age castles in Poland 6. Lod over Warta in upper-Middle Ages
