- Course objectives
- At the end of this course, students should be albe to: examine and identify main representatives of parasitic protozoa, helminths and arthropods; examine and identify the microscopic morphology of parasites and their larval stages.

- Teaching methods
- Practical sessions designed to identify different types of parasites and vectors from the morphological point of view (using stereo and binocular microscope).
- Assessment methods
- Active participation on classes (absence = max 2 classes). Practical examination consisting of 10 questions asking for identification of parasites and their specific structures presented in a microscope.The student will pass if he/she answers 8 questions or more correctly.
