- Course objectives
- Biological backround of fish production in ponds and fish farming units will be presented. The main focus will given on fish species in pond aquaculture and basic technological approaches with respect to multipurposal pond usage and their role in water management.

Main pond aquaculture species and stock composition. 5. Natural food of fish and supplememntary feeding 6. Technologies of natural and artificial reproduction of commercial fish species 7. Egg incubation and early larvae culture 8. Technologies of pond aquaculture, farming cycle 9. Multipurposal role and usage of ponds III. Trout culture and intensive farming 1. Fish species in intensive farming units 2. Trout and intensive farming units 3. Salmonid stripping and egg incubation 4. Principles of farming technologies 5. Feeding and nutrition IV. Principles of crayfish culture V. Water pollution from aquaculture facilities and possibilities of their treatment VI. Fish stock production for public waters
