Course objectives
Students obtain basic knowledge of linear algebra, mathematical analysis and statistics. After absolving the coourse a student is able to practically solve systems of linear equations and he/she gains practical skills in basic calculus in mathematical analysis (computation of limits, derivations and integrals of one variable functions). Finally, he can made standard calculations of probabilites and treatment of measurement data.
Syllabus
  • Linear algebra - system of linear equations and its solution, complex numbers, matrix algebra, vector spaces. Mathematical analysis - function of real variable, differential and integral calculus, applications. Fundamentals of statistics.
