Course objectives

At the end of this course, students should be able to: understand problems of instrumental and analytical methods used in petrology.

Syllabus

• Laboratory instruments.X-Ray spectrometry, magnetometry, Gravimetry Field-work instruments.Whole-rock analyses, point analyses, stable and radiogenic isotops. Accessory minerals Methods of data interpretation.tectonic interpretions.
