- Course objectives
- At the end of this course the student will be able to apply modern methods of chlorophyll fluorescence in research practice.
- Syllabus
- Practical exercises using modern techniques aimed at measuring task, the focus is pozníní and practice the following areas of application of induced chlorophyll fluorescence in vivo: (1) The fluorescence ratio as an indicator of stress in PS II (2) Effective quantum yield of photochemical processes in PS II (3) Inductive effect: fast kinetics of chlorophyll fluorescnce (4) Inductive effect: Slow (Kautsky) kinetita chlorophyll fluorescence (5) and nefotochemické Photochemical quenching of chlorophyll fluorescence (6) Energy quenching of chlorophyll fluorescence (7) Fotoinhibiční quenching of chlorophyll fluorescence (8) Imaging fluorescecnce chlorophyll (Chl fluorescence imaging) (9) Indication of blocking effect of the electron transport membrane of chloroplasts thalakoidní (10) Indication of the impact of toxic substances on the function of photosystem II (11) Indication of the influence of sub-supra-optimal temperatures on the function of PS II (12) Indication of the impact of photoinhibition on the function of PS II
