- The course is also offered to the students of the fields other than those the course is directly associated with.
- fields of study / plans the course is directly associated with
- Course objectives
- The goal of this subject is to complete basic experimental methods with their detail knowledge as well as to extend substantially the list of useful methods:
Modern grating spectrometers, basic detectors for optical emission spectroscopy
Fabry - Perot interferometer
Atomic absorption spectrometry
Laser spectroscopy, laser atomizers in AS, laser fluorescence, long distance exploration
A/D and D/A converters, digital storage oscilloscopes
Hooks methods in plasma diagnostics, holography, schlieren methods in plasma physics
Nondestructive testing - acoustic emission, FFT, wavelet transformation, noise filtering
Characterization of surfaces by microscopic techniques - review of different methods
Every student has to present a lecture on selected subject, too. - Syllabus
