- Students will acquire practical knowledge regarding methods of reclamation of mines.
- Syllabus
- The course will be focused on the key aspects of remediation of mining activities (ZNHČ) of uranium industry, in localities in the administration of the DIAMO and the branch GEAM Dolní Rožínka respectively.
- Program:
- 9:00 arrival at Dolní Rožínka,
- 9:15 move into the area of the former mine Jasan (Rožná 2), an introduction to the activities of DIAMO,
- 10:00 transfer to complex chemical treatment pond tour K1, explanation of the method of remediation of tailings,
- 11:30 R4 pit area - example of reclamation, disposal of the main mine - pit
- 12:00 lunch - dining hall of GEAM (chicken ala pheasant, rice),
- 12:30 move to Olší - Drahonín localities,
- 13:00 lecture concerning the disposal of the site, water treatment plant Drahonín including drainage tunnel.
- 15:00 expected departure to Brno.
