- Course objectives
- At the end of this course, students should be able to distinguish types of human infections according to the their source (anthroponoses, zoonoses and sapronoses); to understand epidemic process and natural focality of diseases; to identify some haematophagous arthropods (ixodid ticks, insects) as vectors of microbial diseases; and to study the ecology of etiologic agents of diseases transmissible to humans from animals or abiotic environment.
