- Course objectives
- At the end of this course, students should be able to: understand problems of instrumental and analytical and geophysical methods used in petrology, and evaluate the responsibility of individual methods to solve the particular problem.
- Syllabus
- Laboratory instruments. X-Ray spectrometry, magnetometry, Gravimetry Field-work instruments. Whole-rock analyses, point analyses, stable and radiogenic isotops. Accessory minerals. Methods of data interpretation. Tectonic interpretions.
