- Students will gain basic knowledge regarding methods of prospecting of oil and gas fields; they will be familiar with the basic software that is used in practice
- Syllabus
- Program of the seminar:
- - familiarization with the methodology of seismic field measurement as a major modern methods for obtaining subsurface geological data - familiarization with the oil geology within the major areas of MND Ltd. research - petroleum geology of the Bohemian Massif slopes - Petroleum Geology of the Vienna Basin - Work with systems for interpretation and evaluation of 3D seismic measurements - Creation of subsurface geological model - Work with logging software and introduction to the geological information system of MND Ltd. - Familiarization with activities geochemical laboratories MND Ltd.
