Course objectives
The main objective of the excursion is to broaden the knowledge of the role and functioning of the central EU institutions, and the ways how the EU policies are prepared and adopted.
Syllabus
  • • Introductory meeting.
  • • Preparation of seminar paper.
  • • Presentation of seminar paper.
  • • Excursion to Brussels, or to Brussels and Strasbourg (5 days).
  • • Excursion to selected EU institutions.
  • • Discussions with EU politicians and high-rank officials.

Excursion to EU institutions in Brussels (or in Brussels and Strasbourg).
Discussions with politicians and officials.
Assessment methods
To pass out, students have to participate in the 5-day excursion to Brussels, and to present their seminar paper.
