- Course objectives
- The course should provide a review of all basic organ systems of vertebrates, with emphasis on functional principles, development, and evolutionary background. The course is restricted to principal general schemes; descriptions of particular systems in respective taxa are provided in special courses dealing with phylogeny and systematics.
