- Course objectives
- The main aim of the lecture is the comparative osteology of selected groups of Tertiary and Quaternary amphibians and reptiles. The lecture is suitable for those interested in Quaternary paleontology.
- Syllabus
- 1 - systematical division of reptiles, the taxonomical position of studied groups within reptilian classification; 2 - the general osteologal characterization of reptiles; 3 - overview of amphibian (Cadata, Salientia) and squamate representatives of Sauria (Anguidae, Lacertidae) and Serpentes (Colubridae, Viperidae) - osteology, taxonomically important features.
