Course objectives
The course provides students with basic information about creation of WWW pages. It includes techniques for definition of web page structure (XHTML language and its construction), as well as for specification of their appearance (CSS). Students will be taught general principles and methods of WWW presentations design. At the end of this course, students should be able to: understand basics of HTML language; make simple web pages;
Learning outcomes
After finishing of the course, the student will be able to create and edit web publications.

  • Color and background of elements
  • Fonts and text formatting
  • Frames and their properties

  • Runaround, positioning and advanced formatting
  • CSS properties, web page design
  • Lists modification, forms
  • Accessibility and usability of web pages, structuring of presentation
