Course objectives
Student will be taught about the principles of plate tectonics.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will be able to solve:
- simple tasks from a plate tectonics quantitatively, graphically or numerically
- simple tasks from geometry of orogens

Lectures and practical exercises.
Assessment methods
Written test with practical problems. In the case of a crisis pandemic situation, the course will be completed in the autumn semester of 2020 by distance form.
