- After completing this course the student will be able to:
understand authentic texts/lectures
identify the main ideas
formulate the main ideas
interpret the information
discuss about general and scientific topics
present simple scientific topics using basic presentation techniques
summarize a simple scientific text
classify
compare and contrast
identify causes and effects
describe a process
apply acquired skills to new topics - Syllabus
- Syllabus: 1.biological, geographical, geological, chemical, mathematical and physical topis according to current importance and interest (necessary vocab)
- 2.general topics (necessary vocab)
- Teaching methods
- Course of French for Special Purposes; specialized text analysis, listening comprehension, conversation and discussion in pairs and in groups; applying grammar in new contexts; homeworks; Interactive language seminar Tuition is synchronous, taking place online, regularly, every week, according to the valid timetable for the semester using the MS Teams or ZOOM application. Students must have basic equipment – a computer or a tablet, internet connection, a camera and a microphone. For more detailed information, see the Interactive Course Syllabus (Study Materials). Students will receive an email with instructions and an appropriate links before the start of the course.

- Each course is finished by a credit test. Requirements: Active participation in on-line classes, submitting a portfolio of continuous work.
