- Course objectives
- The main objectives of the course are the following: acquainting students with the database basic with respect to their role in GIS. students acquire query and definition language SQL in relational and post-relational databases making students aware of manipulation with spatial data in above mentioned databases making students aware of document oriented databases
- Learning outcomes
- - to compile a general database query in SQL language
- to design a relational database structure with limited volume of entities and relationships
- to implement data dictionary of the designed database in SQL language
- to compile a spatial database query in SQL language - Syllabus
