- Course objectives
- Students will be able to select and practically perform appropriate experiments in lessons of chemistry.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course student should be able:
- To choose an experiment that is appropriate to the topic discussed in the lesson.
- To practically perform the experiment with equipment provided by the school. - Syllabus
- The laboratory course comprises the following types of experiments:
- - Inorganic and organic synthetic experiments, isolation of natural products.
- - Cyanotype
- - Simple Physico-chemical experiments (electrochemical cells, determination of rate constant, and partial reaction order).
- - Basic analysis and identification of natural products using TLC and UV-vis spectroscopy.
- - Inquiry-based learning.
- - Kitchen chemistry.
- - Chemical experiments with household chemicals.

- The student will receive credits after fulfillment following requirements:
- Performing all experiments.
- Approval of laboratory reports from selected experiments.
