- Course objectives
- The aim of this course is to train the students to be able to understand and to speak in English about chosen chemical problems at the level of upper secondary school.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course the student will be able to understand and to speak in English about chosen chemical problems at the level of upper secondary school: Particles, Chemical change, Rates of reaction, Air and water, Acids and bases, Chosen chemical elements and their compounds.

- Particles. Atoms combining. The mole. Chemical change. Bases of chemical kinetics. Air and water. Acids and bases. Metals. Hydrogen and nitrogen. Oxygen, sulphur and chlorine. Carbon and carbon compounds. Bases of biochemistry.
