- Course objectives
- THe main objectives of the course are acquainting students with the basics of GR, provide necessary mathematical methods and discuss the applications in modern cosmology.
- Learning outcomes
- After taking the course the student will:
- understand the basics of relativistic physics formulated geometrically;
- be familiar with the basic notions of differential geometry and be able to apply them;
- understand and be able to work with the geodesic equation;
- understand and be able to work with Einstein's equation;
- understand the basics of Black Holes;
- understand the basics of modern relativistic cosmology;
- understand the basics of Gravitational waves; - Syllabus

- Geodesics, curvature
- Einsteins equations, weak field limit
- Gravitational waves
- The Schwarzschild solution
