The course is only offered to the students of the study fields the course is directly associated with.
Course objectives
The students should be able to work with scientific literature, identify the problem, formulate hypothesis which is subsequently tested by the series of suitable experiments in laboratories, interpret results of experimental work and elaborate Master’s thesis.

  • Up-to-date biotechnological or related scientific topics are chosen for Master’s thesis.

Teaching methods
Consultation with supervisor, study of scientific literature, experimental work in laboratory, evaluation of results, writing of thesis.
Assessment methods
Theses are evaluated by the supervisor and another independent reviewer and defended by the student during public presentation.
