- Course objectives
- At the end of the course the students are able to:
Understand and explain developmental processes leading to stem cells population;
Characterize basic features of stem cells;
Explain the role of various cell signaling pathways in maintenance of stem cells;
Interpret and explain recent knowledge and problems in stem cell biology and its applicability in medicine;
Formulate and discuss hypothesis about role of stem cell in tissue regeneration - Learning outcomes

Somatic stem cells; 6. Carcinoma stem cells; 7. Neural stem cells; 8. Hematopoietic stem cells; 9. Epidermis and colon stem cells; 10. Mesenchymal and bone marrow stem cells; 11.
