Absolving the course a student obtains following abilities and skills:
Knowledge of basics logical functions and gates.
Ability to design simple logic circuit.
Ability to analyse und understand principle of function of simple digital electronics instruments.

Syllabus
  • Binary systems;
  • Boolean algebra; AND, OR, NOT and Other Logic Functions.
  • Logic Circuits and Their Technology.
  • Combination Logic Circuits. Decoder, Encoder, Multiplexer. Flip-flop Circuits, RS, RST, D, JK. Registers. Counters. Memories;
  • Time in Logic Circuits;
  • Microprocessor.

Assessment methods
Colloquium. Oral discussion in small group of students and teacher. The teacher makes the classification according to correctness and perfection of the answers of an individual student.
