Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be ready to teach all high-school's mathematical topics; to teach high-school mathematics practically.

Syllabus
  • Preparation of students for teaching standard plane geometry topics of high-school math: Sine and Cosine Rule, Basic facts on euclidean plane geometry, Ruler and compass constructions of geometric loci of points, Elementary theorems on triangles and circules, Similar triangles and their applications, Isometric plane transformations, their properties and classification, Symmetries, Translations, Rotations, Similarity plane transformations, Homotheties and their applications.

Teaching methods
Lectures with seminars supported by reading textbooks.
Assessment methods
Exam consists of both written and oral part. To enter the oral part, gaining at least 50% of points from the written exam is necessary.
