Course objectives
Lecture for scientific audience (seminary, conference), mandatory for graduation.
Learning outcomes
A student should be able to conceive and perform a lecture in English on the scientific topic for a scholarly auditorium; including relevant on-topic discussion.
Syllabus
  • Depends upon the theme of the conference and the presented results.
Teaching methods
Supervised academic talk for a scientific audience.
Assessment methods
2 – 10 credits according to the type of lecture (department seminar, faculty-wide, national, international). A student is supposed to supply evidence regarding the lecture given (attendance certificate, link to the info on the web-page of the conference, photocopy of the programme or photo of the lecturing, ...) to the subject manager (J. Havliš, M. Wimmerová or L. Žídek).
Note: The lecture presented at the CEITEC PhD School conference is not eligible for receiving the grade.
