- Syllabus
- Ordinary differential equations of the 1st order: basic properties, exact differential equations, equations with separable variables, linear equations, the Bernoulli equation, differential equations with implicit derivations. Ordinary linear differential equations of the 2nd order: basic properties, linear equations with constant coefficients with and without the absolute term. Method of the variation of the constants, method of variable coefficients. Numerical methods of solving differential equations. Systems of linear differential equations. Physical applications: Mathematical pendulum with dissipation, small oscillations of systems of particles. Path integrals of the 1st and 2nd type: definition, methods of calculation. Independence of the path integral of the 2nd type on the integration trajectory. Linear transformations, eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the transformation. Quadratic forms and their transformations.
