- Wohl's expansion for the excess Gibbs energy. Fugacities in liquid mixtures, theories of solutions. The Flory-Huggins Equation. Solubility of gases in liquids. Solubility of solids in liquids. Distribution of a solid solute between two immiscible liquids. High-pressure equilibria. Supercritical fluid extraction. Numerical exercises and problem classes and associated tutorials for the whole course.

- Aplikovaná termodynamika II 1. Fugacita v kapalných směsích: teorie roztoků. Van Laarova teorie. Scatchardova-Hildebrandova teorie. Mřížková teorie. Roztoky polymerů. Floryho-Hugginsova rovnice. 2. Rozpustnost plynů v kapalinách. Ideální rozpustnost. Henryho zákon. Vliv tlaku a teploty na rozpustnost plynu. 3. Rozpustnost tuhých látek v kapalinách. Termodynamický rámec. Ideální rozpustnost. Neideální roztok. Distribuce tuhé látky mezi dvě nemísitelné kapaliny. 4.Rovnováhy za vysokých tlaků. Fázové chování za vysokých tlaků. Termodynamická analýza. Superkritická fluidní extrakce.
